Hydro provides support for largest CPV solar plant

A precision-extruded aluminum framing system manufactured by Hydro has been installed at a 500-kilowatt electric generation facility in Durango, Mexico, the largest concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) solar facility in Latin America. Located about 550 miles north of Mexico City, the Durango site is already designated to expand to 10 megawatts total capacity in the near future.

Hydro featured in auto campaign

Employees from Hydro's extrusion operations in the U.S. are helping profile the use of aluminum in automobiles. This first segment in the "Jobs From Autos" campaign by the Auto Alliance features Matthew Holbrook, a production manager in Hydro's plant in St. Augustine, Florida.

Hydro Expands Fabrication Focus

Hydro has expanded its aluminum fabrication services with more regional technical competence and a new dedicated website. “Customers should benefit from cost savings by obtaining their extrusions and fabrication in one place,” said Matthew Dionne, president of Hydro’s North American aluminum extrusion business.

Hydro divests non-strategic stake in Ascent Solar
